Tuesday 24 March 2026 6P Weekly Update w/e 13/03/26 6P took part in a bubble experiment for science week, measuring how to create the longest lasting bubbles. They had to consider independent and dependent variables and fair testing.

Tuesday 24 March 2026 1H Weekly Update w/e 13/03/26 Last week the children in 1H enjoyed all of the science week activities. These included the Coke and Mentos experiment workshop, testing their theories about whether we they could create different shaped bubbles with wands of various shapes; and a very interesting workshop on how electricity is made.

Tuesday 24 March 2026 2 Year Old Nursery Weekly Update w/e 13/03/26 To celebrate Science Week we investigated what happens to different objects when we put them in the water. The children enjoyed testing which objects float and which sink and shared their observations with their friends.

Tuesday 24 March 2026 French Weekly Update w/e 13/03/26 Y5 pupils consolidated their knowledge of French numbers 1-60 by playing the game Loto – won by Maxwell! Actions and mnemonics (some scenes we envisaged) helped pupils to remember some of the trickier numbers.

Tuesday 24 March 2026 RM Weekly Update 13/03/26 This week in RM we enjoyed lots of science activities. We watched live session to learn how to make a bubble mixture and had great fun making and experimenting with bubbles.

Tuesday 24 March 2026 3MG Weekly Update w/e 13/03/36 This week, we investigated the question: 'What bubble shapes can you make?' We each created our own bubble wand with different shapes at the top and then investigated the bubble shapes they created.

Tuesday 24 March 2026 2S Weekly Update w/e 13/03/36 This week in Maths, 2S have been practising multiplying and dividing. We were helped by the fact that we know how to count in 2s, 5s and 10s.

Tuesday 24 March 2026 3FW Weekly Update w/e 13/03/26 Year 3 have a great Science week this week. They have really enjoyed creating their own bubble wands, and are looking forward to investigating how the different shapes will affect the shape of the bubbles.

Tuesday 24 March 2026 4F Weekly Update w/e 13/03/26 For British Science Week, 4F made their own bubble mixture to investigate how changing the concentration of certain variables (sugar, water, soap) changed the duration of the bubbles.

Friday 13 March 2026 1H Weekly Update w/e 06/03/26 The children in 1H enjoyed a book themed scavenger hunt last week. In groups they had to work out the answer to a clue and then search for the book.

Friday 13 March 2026 RM Weekly Update w/e 06/03/26 This week in RM we learned about Jesus’ trip to the desert for 40 days. We talked about coming closer to Jesus by praying during Lent time.
